Rise (waist height):
High – Sits high above the waistline, elongates the legs, and creates a flattering, defined look. Works especially well with tops tucked into the jeans.
Mid – Sits at or slightly below the natural waistline. Comfortable for everyday wear and suitable for all body shapes.
Low Rise – Sits low, usually below the belly button, creating a casual, relaxed look.
Silhouette (shape on the leg):
Slim – A close-fitting cut from the waist to the ankle, but not skinny. Creates a clean, elegant silhouette.
Straight – A straight line from the thigh to the ankle. A classic, timeless fit that works with any look.
Wide – A wide, relaxed leg from the thigh down, offering movement and a strong silhouette.
General terms:
Relaxed – A relaxed fit, slightly looser around the thigh.
Bootcut – Slightly fitted through the thigh and widens from the knee to the ankle.
Flare – Widens from the knee down.
Cropped – A shorter length that finishes above the ankle.
Full Length – Full length down to the floor.
